Our mistress, Producer and host of VQS (Voodoo Quota Show, highly acclaimed radio/podcast promoting independent/unsigned music globally) has announced plans to produce another high quality Black Belt Records UK promotion show, showcasing bands on the label. details, she says will come as they unfold.

We are proud to welcome Dope Buzz  to the BBR Roster -a brilliant electro/breakbeat artist from Bulgaria with 10 years of musical experience, a Prodigy style influence  and a whole host of synth and keyboards to boot.

'Sound' Songwriting Accolade For izzie.

Barnsley UK native izzie Voodoo recently received the honor of being named Finalist by the Song of the Year ( http://www.songoftheyear.com/ ) songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners.

Song of the Year is excited to recognize izzie for her exceptional songwriting ability for the song 'Sound'. izzie competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor.

Currently izzie is concentrating on her songwriting,(a new album is to be released later in the year) career while hoping to continue building her live audience and attract  the interest of major labels and publishers.

Online top quality mixing/production for low budget artists.

Black Belt Records can now provide a top quality demo mixing service for bands and artists on a tight  budget, working over the internet, so reducing the cost of real studio time.

Home recorded individual tracks (drums, guitars, vocals, keyboards etc) are sent in to be mixed and produced here in the BBR studio.

The standard of production here is very high, but will, of course vary depending on the original quality of the individual tracks sent in, but every effort will be made to make each song into a  usable, good quality demo.
